"Change happens through movement and movement heals." Joesph Pilates

REFORMER PILATES

The reformer was invented by Joseph Pilates, it is a bed like piece of equipment that uses ropes, pulleys and springs under tension. The mat repertoire is derived from the original reformer exercises, so you will find many cross over points in terms of physical technique and movement patterns. The Reformer is a more effective way of working with resistance and gives you superior feed back in how your body moves helping you to improve symmetry in movement, posture and strength. All reformer sessions are taught at Bodywerx Studios, Norwich.

MAT PILATES

Pilates is a non-aerobic form of exercise placing minimal stress on joints. Although regular practise can strengthen your back and flatten your tummy, it's restorative and preventative benefits should not be overlooked! It's a great way to improve posture, balance, joint health and wellbeing.

EQUESTRIAN

I am a certified Equipilates™ Biomechanics Trainer and Franklin Method ® Equestrian Ball Practitioner. I combine both practises in my weekly equestrian Pilates classes. I am also available to do clinics and workshops at your yard. Please see the links in the menu bar for more information.

BARRECONCEPT®

Combining elements of Pilates, ballet and yoga this is a high intensity workout that will re-sculpt and redefine your body. Work your muscles to fatigue, work yourself in to a sweat and tone your body from head to toe- all to the rhythm of a disco/ Motown soundtrack. What's not to love?

PRE & POST- NATAL

Your body changes significantly during and after pregnancy. Pilates is a great way to stabilise your joints, reduce pregnancy associated aches and pains and speed up your post-natal recovery. Give yourself some "me time" with a gentle work out that focuses on improving mobility, upper body strength and pelvic floor function.
